Pressure switch sensors
The pressure switch sensor, also known as DRD, is a sensor that provides pressure monitoring and regulation in closed systems with gaseous media.
It sends signals to the automation and control system if the pressure exceeds the permissible setpoint.
The principle of operation of the pressure switch sensor
There is a flexible plate inside the DRD, the position of which changes under the flow of liquid. The more active the flow, the greater its bend will be.
This element is connected to two springs that close and open, when changing the position of the flexible plate, the contacts of a pair of electrical circuits that operate at user-defined pressure limits.
When the pressure reaches the minimum value set for the pressure switch sensor, the membrane inside weakens, the contact under the second spring is triggered, and the pump turns on. Gradually, the pressure increases, reaches its maximum value, after which the contact opens under the first spring, which turns off the pump.
The relay sensors from Salutech have a rotary disc with markings on the body, thanks to which you can set the minimum and maximum pressure values, adjust the switching parameters without using a pressure gauge.
The device is equipped with a polymer housing with a transparent lid, which performs the function of protecting working parts from dust and moisture.
