Manual hydraulic pump

Sort:

Technical characteristics of hydraulic pumps

The functional purpose of hydraulic pumps is the conversion of mechanical energy into hydraulic energy for subsequent pumping of liquid media into working mechanisms. When choosing hydraulic pumps, the following parameters of hydraulic motors must be taken into account:

  • Operating pressure;
  • rotation frequency;
  • the viscosity of the working fluid.

2 isolated chambers are formed in the working pump: the suction cavity and the discharge cavity, from which the liquid moves, creating the necessary hydraulic pressure.

Such devices are perfectly adapted to work with high-pressure hydraulic systems.

Features and applications of manual hydraulic pumps

Simple hydraulic devices structurally represent a manual pump: a cylindrical cavity with a piston rigidly connected to a rod. The rod is actuated by a lever from a person's hand or foot by means of a hinge, if the design of the manual hydraulic pump is equipped with a pedal with a spring.

Models of manual hydraulic pumps are included in the mechanisms:

  • lifting cranes and platforms;
  • test benches, jacks;
  • sprayers;
  • presses.
