SINAMICS G120 — modular converter for a wide range of applications
The SINAMICS G120 frequency converter is a modular converter that provides extensive functionality. The main modular components of the converter are:
- Control Module (CU)
- Power Module (PM)
The control module controls the power module to which the electric motor is connected.
The control module also allows you to connect various types of encoders (CU250S-2) and various communication interfaces (USS, ModBus, PROFIBUS, PROFINET, CAN) to provide control and monitoring of the electric drive system. Modular components can be freely combined to meet any requirements for the functionality and power of the electric drive system. The power range is from 0.37 kW to 250 kW
