Multi-toothed mixers with increased cutting The 8100X series are used to achieve stable emulsions and dispersions.
To date, for the production of emulsions or dispersions of high quality
mills and homogenizers were used. With the 8100X series mixers, similar results can be achieved - a more hygienic solution at a lower price.
Examples of the use of the mixer can be the processes of making mayonnaise, creams and ointments, pharmaceutical and veterinary drugs, etc.
The principle of operation
In traditional rotor/stator mixers, cutting occurs when the product ejected by the rotor passes through the holes of the stator, the 8100X series mixers consist of many rows of concentric teeth.
The product is fed into the center of the mixer and moves to the edge through radial channels
the rotor/stator. The tolerances are very small, and the circumferential speed (up to 50 m/s) and the cutting degree are very high.
Design and characteristics
Increased cutting. Reduction of particles to 10 microns.
The circumferential speed is 50 m/s.
Seal: hygienic, cooled single mechanical seal.
It is possible to adjust the tolerances between the rotor and the stator.
