Three-phase electric motors AEM series AS, ASR, ASB They have a phase rotor type with installed contact rings and carbon brushes, they have a high starting torque, which is necessary for powering loaded production equipment. All models of this family are united by the general concept of the body structure and the type of open air cooling system. Welded steel structure, cylindrical shaft is made of high-strength grade of gray cast iron, ball bearings are installed. The insulation of the winding is made according to the vacuum injection technique and has a high protection class. Low and high voltage motors (except for the smallest size) are presented.
In addition to the standard version, various modifications of the housing and shaft design, additional extensions and built-in accessories, as well as individual requests are available. To increase the degree of protection against penetration of solids and water, this series can be manufactured with an integrated heat exchanger.
