Engineering developments of the company Electro Adda in the field of design of asynchronous electric motors for thrusters on ships, the mass production of electric motors of the TH series was initiated. In short, the essence of the thrusters is to create a transverse stop at mooring, entrances and exits from ports and harbors. As a rule, thrusters are located in the bow and stern of the vessel to increase the torque relative to the center of mass, but for accurate and stable operation, reliable and high-performance asynchronous motors with a short-circuited rotor are first of all necessary. At the same time, the electric motors themselves are powered by the tires of a power plant or a separate diesel generator. According to the requests of special inspection bodies, acceptance (field) tests are carried out for asynchronous electric motors, since their operation involves operation in various climatic zones, taking into account constant temperature fluctuations at plus and negative values. Special attention is also paid to ensuring the necessary noise and vibration levels.
