Compact and reliable asynchronous electric motors of the series 1PL6 Siemens manufactures have a short-circuited rotor design, splash-proof design and are equipped with a ventilation cooling system with independent power supply.
High output power density, in comparison with overall analogues, maintaining torque up to zero speed, smooth running even at low speeds, easy to maintain. KTY 84 thermal sensors are integrated into the stator winding to protect against overheating of the motor. They are equipped with special sensors (encoders) for speed control.
Common applications for this type of motor are lifting equipment, printing presses, extruders, calenders, assembly mechanisms, wire drawing installations, winders and many other applications.
