Cycloidal m-reducer of the BLD series
Cycloid transmission (planetary-terminal) differs from others in that 67% of the tooth area of cycloidal discs is in contact at any given time.
This allows the cycloid transmission to withstand the highest impact loads, which can be up to 500% of the rated torque of the gearbox. Any other type of transmission has an overlap coefficient ten times less, as a result of which manufacturers of general industrial drives focus on an overload capacity of no more than 200% of the rated torque.
Features of the cycloidal gearbox High exhaust coefficient and high level of efficiency If the cycloidal gearbox is equipped with a single-stage transmission, the exhaust coefficient can reach up to 1:87 and the efficiency will be more than 90%.
