DVP

The Italian manufacturing plant DVP produces engineering machinery for technical vacuum generation and low-pressure gas transmission. Brand's designers focus on tight manufacturing tolerances during metal machining and highly effective noise reduction. Because of this, the assemblies run quietly and without pulsations, which is absolutely critical for sensitive automated production lines. The enterprise was launched by engineer Mario Zannini in 1973 in Bologna. Starting with the production of simple rotary vane units, the firm soon patented dry oil-free modifications. This allowed a small family workshop to evolve into a major global exporter. Today, partner branches and commercial warehouses of DVP are open in the USA, Germany, Spain, Brazil, and China. The primary industrial footprint with assembly shops and testing fields is located in a Bologna suburb — San Lazzaro di Savena. From this point, finished units are directly shipped to clients worldwide. The brand's equipment directly covers the demands of four major manufacturing sectors:— Food Industry & Packaging Mills: creating deep vacuum inside thermoformers and automated bottling lines.— Medical Equipment & Clinics: supplying reliable vacuum to operating theatres and surgical aspiration circuits.— Printing Shops & Woodworking: secure paper sheet gripping in print houses and workpiece fixation on CNC tables.— Polymer Processing: rapid degassing of plastics and clean molding of composite epoxies. The product portfolio includes lubricated and dry rotary vane pumps from L, LC, SB, and SC series, dry claw units from PA series, liquid ring machines, blowers, and centralized vacuum stations. The main advantage of these assemblies is their compact monobloc construction. Composite graphite vanes offer an extended lifespan, and the pump easily withstands continuous long-term loads. Engineers implemented built-in non-return check valves and efficient labyrinth oil separation elements. For heavy thermal environments, motors are equipped with reinforced insulation.Energy consumption is minimized thanks to the installation of advanced IE3 class electric motors and optimized working chamber profiles. DVP facilities operate under strict quality regulations of the ISO 9001 standard. Before packaging, every single device undergoes mandatory loaded tests for sealing and performance. For hazardous areas, specialized explosion-proof modifications with ATEX certification are available. DVP machinery is selected for true Italian engineering, high repairability, and quick investment return during factory modernization updates.Facts & Figures:— 1973 — year of assembly of the first proprietary DVP vacuum pump in Bologna.— Over 70% of premium hardware manufactured by the plant is exported globally.— 100% of units are constructed exclusively within own manufacturing site in Italy.— IE3 motor energy efficiency class cuts electricity power demand by up to 25%.
