Diaphragm metering pumps
Diaphragm type metering pumps are equipment for pumping liquids. The main working element of the diaphragm pump is an elastic membrane. By reciprocating, the membrane creates alternating pressure in the pump chambers, by increasing and decreasing their volume. After the pressure is applied, the pumped medium is sucked in.
Diaphragm metering pumps can be used to pump liquids of various compositions, including chemical liquids, viscous liquids and ordinary water.
They are used for various industries: pharmaceutical, metallurgical, textile, chemical, food and other industries.
Advantages of diaphragm pumps:
- minimum noise during operation;
- operation at a suction height of up to 6 m;
- safety of use after hydro-testing;
- pumping of contaminated liquids;
- construction without seals;
- easy maintenance.
