Shut-off and safety valves for protection and control of technological processes

Stainless steel shut-off and safety valves are designed to protect lines, installations and containers from overpressure, and to preserve hygiene in the food and pharmaceutical industries.

How does it work?

The principle of operation of such devices is reliable and simple: the shut-off and control valves automatically discharge the excess part of the working product with a pressure that exceeds the permissible values. After the pressure is normalized, the valve stops the discharge of the medium.

Thus, safety valves ensure the safety of operation of pipeline networks, where it is unacceptable to exceed the pressure values above the calculated ones, and also limit the movement of the product in the opposite direction.

Types of sanitary control valves:

Safety valves Designed to work with water and other liquids, as well as gases and steam. Special spring and weight mechanisms are used, including the materials from which these valves are made, which are ideal for use in the food and beverage industry.
Shut-off valves for food production Product flow in different directions is allowed, so-called self-draining valves.
Control (check valves) They are used in hygienic installations in order to prevent the backflow of the product.

The mechanisms for controlling the valves can be set in motion by manual force or automation (electric drives, pneumatic drives or hydraulic drives).

The Salutech company will consult on all issues of sanitary fittings.

Control valves are used to reduce or increase the pressure, volume and flow velocity of the working medium in the pipeline system.

Similar pipelines are found in various fields:

  • Pharmaceutical industry;
  • Chemical industry;
  • Petrochemical industry;
  • Oil and gas industry;
  • Paper industry;
  • Energy.

Stainless steel safety valves provide a high degree of tightness and prove to be durable devices that do not require complex maintenance and expensive repairs throughout their entire service life.
