The compact 8693 type process controller is designed for integrated installation on pneumatic actuators of the 23xx/2103 series of control direct-flow valves and specifically for technological conditions of hygienic processes. The actual value of the process parameter is supplied directly to the device as a 4-20 mA, PT100 or frequency signal. After comparing the setpoint and the actual values, the process controller calculates the setpoint for the auxiliary sensor of the actual position. By means of analog feedback, all analog values can be transmitted to the control levels.Due to the presence of diagnostic functions, it is possible to monitor the operating conditions of the control valve. Diagnostic messages about the valve via status signals are sent according to NE107 (NAMUR) and stored in the form of chronological records. Parameterization of the process controller and the position sensor can occur automatically. Easy maintenance and a wide range of additional software functions are carried out on a large graphical display with backlight and via a touch keyboard or PC interface. The actual position sensor detects the position of the valve without being subjected to wear through a non-contact analog sensor. Single- or double-acting actuators are controlled without internal air consumption. Is the Pro communication interface offered as an option?DPV1 or DeviceNet bus, as well as analog or binary feedback.
