DM2D3128032/OS Pneumatic valve, DN32, SK63-Ed., OS stainless steel steel/PTFE
Pneumatic valves are designed for specialized applications where there are working environments with a high content of pollutants, environments with high viscosity, high ambient temperatures, humid environments and explosive operating conditions.
The pneumatic valves are available in two versions:
- with water hammer protection – for liquids. For such valves, the flow direction goes under the seat and thereby slows down the closing speed of the valve.
- without water hammer protection - for compressible media, for example, gases, steam. The flow direction of such valves goes above the seat. In this case, the medium helps to close the valve, thus a large actuator is not required for closing.
The shut-off valve is designed to quickly shut off the pipeline or part of it in case of an emergency or according to technological requirements.
A characteristic feature of shut-off valves is the speed, which is usually provided by the actuation of a spring (screw or poppet package) at the time of closing the valve. The spring is cocked by pneumatic or electric drive.
In electric drive fittings, electromagnetic-controlled latches are used to hold the spring in the cocked position. High-speed shut-off valves with a two-way piston drive are also used. High-speed valves, valves and dampers can also be used as shut-off (protective) fittings. The type of action of this valve equipped with springs
