Motive three-phase motors from 160 to 400 are made of cast iron and have all the main characteristics of the Delphi series, including:
- standardized dimensions in accordance with international standards (IEC 72-1)
- high voltage and multi-frequency 50/60 Hz, Class F insulation, [on request H or H+ (delfire)]
- S1 continuous operation, protection class IP55 (IP56, 66 and 67 on request)
- tropical winding and reinforced insulation
- suitable for working with frequency converters * [from 110 kW and above, we recommend ordering an engine with insulated linings (optional)]

While maintaining the same sealing system for the entire Delphi series, the terminal box up to 280 is made of aluminum, thereby guaranteeing its IP65 protection index without exposing itself to the usual cast iron finishing defects.
For sizes from 160 to 280, we install bearings with ZZ automatic lubrication, which eliminates the need for periodic maintenance and re-lubrication.
Instead, from size 315 and up, they are equipped with lubricators. 4, 6 and 8 pole motors the drive end bearings actually have an open roller type to withstand possible extreme radial loads (see the section "list of components") already with three built-in PTC thermistors that protect the motor and system from anomalies of operation equipped with lifting ring bolts [one for version B3 (foot mounting), two for version B5 (flange locking)]
The terminal box can be rotated 360° in 90° increments
Given the high torque, fixation from size 180 upwards is provided by legs made as one with the body
On request, Motive can in any case mount the terminal box on the side, on the right or on the left
