The AIR 200 series engines are represented by a line of powerful three-phase units with a short-circuited rotor, powered by an alternating current network with a frequency of 50 Hz.
Application
Engines of this type are the most common and purchased units designed for use in various areas of the industrial and agro-industrial complex to provide drives for mechanisms that need high power and long-term operation at relatively low speeds.
Device
The design of the AIR 200 motors is characterized by simplicity and reliability, which are provided by the standard internal filling for asynchronous mechanisms, consisting of a stator with niches for winding copper wire, which is phase-connected to each other in the form of a star or triangle. The incoming electric current to the winding creates a magnetic field that drives the rotor, which sets the rotation rate.
The entire filling of these models is hidden in a securely protected casing, which can be made of cast iron or a complex filling including cast iron and aluminum alloy.
Features
When purchasing AIR 200 series engines, it must be remembered that they are designed for long-term operation according to the S1 standard. Operation with frequent on/off leads to abnormal overheating of the internal winding and external electrical networks, which can lead to premature wear of components and the occurrence of emergency situations. These models withstand operation in an aggressive dust environment according to the IP55 standard, which also guarantees protection from splashing water.
Modifications
The AIR 200 series of asynchronous electric motors is represented by 8 models with different capacities and a different number of poles that affect the rotation speed. All modifications received a body with the same width and height of 485x410mm, but differ in the length of the unit. The model range includes options:
- Air 200 M2 with a capacity of 37 kW, 3000 rpm and a weight of 235 kg;
- AIR 200 L2 with a capacity of 45kW, 3000 rpm and a weight of 255kg;
- AIR 200 M4 with a capacity of 37 kW, 1500 rpm and a weight of 245 kg;
- AIR 200 L4 with a capacity of 45kW, 1500 rpm and a weight of 270kg;
- Air 200 M6 with a power of 22kW, 1000 rpm and a weight of 245kg;
- AIR 200 L6 with a capacity of 30kW, 1000 rpm and a weight of 260kg;
- Air 200 M8 with a power of 18.5kW, 750 rpm and a weight of 240 kg;
- AIR 200 L8 with a power of 22kW, 750 rpm and a weight of 260kg.
For the installation of engines of this series, three versions are provided for each model, providing installation on the paws, on the paws and with a flange connection or only with a flange connection.
