The AIR 225 series of motors is a mechanism with a three-phase electric drive, designed to operate from a mains with a current frequency of 50 Hz and a voltage of 380V /660V. Units with a voltage of 220V/380V can be manufactured on a separate order.
Application
These powerful electric motors find their application as drive units of machine tools, machines, pumps, compressors, elevators, they are bought for other equipment for which reliable progressive operation with a small number of revolutions is important.
Device
The asynchronous principle of operation of the motors of this series implies a mismatch of the rotation speed of the created magnetic field with the speed of rotation of the rotor. To create the moment of conversion of electrical energy into mechanical motion, a stator housing is provided with wire windings laid in phase recesses, the connection of the phases of which may resemble a triangle or a star in shape. Under the influence of electric energy, a magnetic field is created, which drives the rotor, which already transmits mechanical rotation.
To protect the internal components and ensure high-quality heat transfer, the manufacturer has provided cast-iron shields on the body. And the body frame itself can be made of cast iron or aluminum alloy.
Features
Among the advantages of the AIR 200 series electric motors, a simple, reliable design should be noted, which ensures long-term operation of the mechanism without abnormal overheating. It is also distinguished by the simplicity of starting and the ease of switching the engine to automated operation.
To increase the reliability of the unit, protection against short-term overloads of mechanical origin is provided.
Modifications
This series of asynchronous electric motors is represented by 4 models with different capacities and speeds of shaft rotation. The AIR 225 M2 model with two poles received overall dimensions of 835x535x458cm, and all other modifications have external parameters of 865x535x458mm.
The model range includes options:
- Air 225 M2 with a capacity of 55 kW, 3000 rpm and a weight of 340kg;
- AIR 225 M4 with a capacity of 55kW, 1500 rpm and a weight of 345kg;
- AIR 225 M6 with a capacity of 37 kW, 1000 rpm and a weight of 330 kg;
- AIR 225 M8 with a capacity of 30 kW, 750 rpm and a weight of 340kg.
Depending on the place of application and the functions of the electric motor, it is possible for each model to choose a factory version with mounting through paws, paws with a flange or using a single flange mechanism.
