The AIR 56 series refers to asynchronous three-phase DC electric motors of general industrial design. Depending on the power and speed of the shaft, they are produced in 4 modifications: AIR 56A2, AIR 56 A4, AIR 56B2 and AIR 56B4. They are used in drives of machines, machine tools and mechanisms in various sectors of the national economy.
Decoding the marking:
- AIR – engine series (A – asynchronous, I – Interelectro development, P – power binding to installation and connection dimensions according to RS3031-71);
- 56 – height of the axis of rotation in mm;
- A2 is a variant of the core length (letter A), rotation speed 3000 rpm, magnetic field poles 2;
- A4 is a variant of the core length (letter A), rotation speed 1500 rpm, poles - 4;
- B2 is a variant of the core length (letter B), rotation speed 3000 rpm, poles - 2;
- B4 is a variant of the core length (letter B), the rotation speed is 1500 rpm, the poles are 4.
The motors are available at a voltage of 220/380 V and operate from an alternating current network with a frequency of 50 Hz. They are manufactured with a degree of protection IP55, which indicates reliable protection against ingress of water and dust. The operating mode is continuous. They are installed in rooms without artificial regulation of humidity and temperature.
The AIR 56 electric motor consists of:
- enclosures;
- fixed stator;
- a movable short-circuited rotor mounted on a shaft;
- bearing shields (rear and front);
- The fan;
- introductory devices.
The body is made of grey cast iron. The three-phase winding is made of copper, which is reliably varnished. The stator winding is laid in special slots in phases. The phases can be connected by a "triangle" or "star" depending on the voltage. The short-circuited rotor winding is made of aluminum alloys or pure aluminum. The engine has a single cylindrical shaft, with which it is connected to the necessary device. It is allowed to heat the winding no higher than 150 0C.
The principle of operation of the engine is the electromagnetic interaction between the stator and the rotor.
According to the method of fastening, they are available:
- on paws with bearing shields - IM1081(1001);
- on paws with bearing shields and flange on the side of the working shaft - IM2081(2001);
- without paws with bearing shields and flange on the side of the working shaft - IMZ081(3001).
In order for the AIR 56 engine to work smoothly and be durable, an engine protection machine is needed, which can be bought together with the engine, its brand and price will be advised by experienced specialists.
