During operation, it is necessary to monitor the level of wear of the electrographite brushes and replace them in a timely manner. Equipping an electric machine with sensors for monitoring brush wear, and connecting them to a thyristor drive, allows automation to control the process of brush wear and prevent emergencies and downtime.
