As part of the development of the Electric Motor for Metallurgy direction, saluteh LLC, together with European partners, continues to actively introduce DC traction motors for use in metallurgical units and lifting and transport machines.
Leroy Somer TDMC series DC traction motors are manufactured in accordance with GOST R 52776-2007 standard in dimensions 802, 803, 804, 806, 808, 810, 812, 814, 816, 818, 620, 622, 624. This circumstance allows the use of Leroy-Somer electric motors when replacing domestic traction motors of the D series, DE, DEV, DPE, DPV, DPM, MPE, MPWE.
Distinctive features of TDMC traction motors: high starting torques, operation in constant overload modes, wide range of rotation speed control, long service life, high reliability.

Arguments in favor of choosing direct current traction motors Leroy-Somer
- They comply with the AISE 1 - 1991 standard (Association of Iron & Steel Engineers, USA), GOST R 52776-2007;
- Welded housing with a choice of closed or open ventilation system;
- The choice of independent, compound or serial (sequential) excitation in accordance with the requirements of the application. Parallel uncompensated excitation is available for all dimensions, parallel compensated excitation can be manufactured for dimensions 812 and above only for an open ventilation system. For dimensions 620, 622 and 624, it is possible to manufacture compensated independent excitation and with a closed ventilation system;
- Replaceable shaft;
- Identical shafts on both sides with a 1:9.6 cone, a key parallel to the cone OR 1:10 of the cone or parallel to the shaft axis. Only metric threads are made;
- It is possible to manufacture a terminal box or free output cables with a cover;
- It is possible to implement various axial movements (3 ... 5mm according to AISE 1) or without axial movement of the rotor;
- Insulation class H using Class F;
- The anchors are impregnated with VPI (vacuum, under pressure), the stator coils are impregnated by immersion together with the pole iron in a special rubber of class H for the best electrical, mechanical and thermal characteristics;
- All copper conductors used are double coated for 200 °C or Class H type EFGS;
- The rated armature voltage is 230V in accordance with the AISE STD 230V standard. However, the electric motor can be safely operated with voltages up to 500V with a corresponding increase in rated speed;
- It is possible to manufacture semi-high-speed (full speed at 460V according to AISE) & Quarter-speed (1/2 full speed at 460V or 1/4 full speed at 230V according to AISE);
- It is possible to select any excitation voltage up to 500V;
- Designed to work with three-phase, 6-pulse and higher thyristor rectifiers;
- The capacities indicated in the table are set for a closed blown version (IC0041 according to GOST 20459-87) in the S1 mode according to GOST R 52776-2007. The same power value is provided for the closed version with convective cooling (IC0040 according to GOST 20459-87) and the S3 PV25% 60 min operating mode. Electric motors are converted from IC0041 to IC0040 and back;
- The mounting dimensions of the machine are symmetrical relative to the middle when one shaft breaks, the machine can be rotated 180° to use the other end of the shaft;
- The brushes are positioned at 45° to facilitate maintenance;
- Robust construction of the brush assembly and collector;
- The machines can be manufactured taking into account any technical requirements of the Customer.
