Although there are still a large number of technical applications where it is preferable to use a DC electric drive (mainly due to smaller weight and size, compact control system, slightly better dynamic characteristics of DC electric motors), but most of the new technological equipment is equipped only with electric drives and AC electric motors. In this regard, many European manufacturers of electric motors do not rely on these machines, alternately removing them from production programs. Today, perhaps, there are only two strong players in the field of direct current in the Russian market, Siemens and ABB, but after receiving a commercial offer from them with delivery dates of 20-30 weeks, it becomes clear that in the near future they will abandon the production of DC electric motors.
Given the peculiarity of the operation of equipment at Russian enterprises (technological equipment has been in operation for decades), our company could not ignore the search for a reliable supplier of DC electric motors, which provided the highest quality of its products and acceptable production times.
