Control and feedback head for integrated installation on Robolux type 2036 valves (231306)

The position sensor type 8685 and the control head type 8686 are optimized for integrated installation on servo valves with pneumatic drive type 2036 Robolux. A DIP switch can be used to adjust the drive to one or another size. In a compact unit, the devices take over the automation functions for both independently controlled drive halves. Depending on the configuration, electrical and optical position signaling is carried out by means of contactless sensors and high-power LEDs, pneumatic control of the drive pistons through integrated pilot valves and AS-interface communication of sensors and actuators. The use of appropriate galvanically isolated switching amplifiers and valve control units ensures intrinsically safe performance according to the Namur standard. Thus, it is possible to implement the concept of universal automation for technological equipment. Compact enclosures are characterized by a hygienic design, materials resistant to cleaning agents and proven in practice shell protection with a high degree. The built-in supply air filter additionally provides a pneumatic switching function in the presence of a type 8686 control head for coarse contamination in the compressed air supply system.
