Orthobloc series bevel gear motors are a complete high-performance product that fully complies with the principle of Leroy Somer and is the result of the activities of two divisions of the company "electric motors" and "reducers". In most cases, Orthobloc series gear motors are manufactured for OEM partners of the company manufacturing technological equipment and are used as part of a frequency-controlled electric drive.
The use of asynchronous LSMV electric motors in the product (an analogue of the Russian ADHR) allows for smooth and reliable frequency control up to several hundred HZ, and the standard design of the gear motor will increase the output speed of the gear motor up to 100%.
The gearbox housing is made in a monolithic cast-iron housing, in which technological ribs are provided to ensure high rigidity and better attenuation of noise and vibrations.
In comparison with the equipment of other European manufacturers, the Leroy-Somer gearboxes have a lower noise level, vibration and a minimum thermal coefficient (high efficiency).
The reliability of the product is achieved by methods proven by the company:
- gears and shafts are made only of a wear-resistant alloy with the addition of Ni-Cr-Mo;
- high purity of work surface treatment;
- only synthetic lubricants are used;
- corrosion-resistant coatings and seals must ensure the operation of the product in aggressive environments.
