Minex is a hybrid heat exchanger (heat exchanger with plates and frames), sealed with gaskets, not soldering. It is a small device, so it does not require the supporting frame used for traditional PTOs. Gaskets and plates can be made of various materials. The material of the frame and the plates may be different. The snap-on connection method allows the use of different metals without risking welding quality.
