Alfa Laval LKC UltraPure Check Valve

The Alfa Laval LKC UltraPure check valve is a non-return valve that does not allow backflow into the system. UltraPure performance has been developed and documented in accordance with the requirements of such industries as the pharmaceutical, biotechnological, and cosmetic industries.

The spring acts on the valve piston and keeps the valve closed until the force from the inlet pressure exceeds the force of the spring. When a backflow occurs, the spring force and outlet pressure keep the valve closed.

A pressure drop is required to open the valve if it is installed in a vertical pipe, as shown in Fig. 2, approx. 6 kPa (0.06 bar).
