Synchronous electric motors manufactured by a Russian company Ruselprom The BSDKPM series with the KOSUR-122 digital excitation system are designed to drive gas angle compressors based on 5GP in explosive zones. The insulation of the motor windings is thermosetting of the Monolith–2 type of heat resistance class not lower than "B". The connection of the phases of the stator windings is a star, with six terminal ends connected to two terminal boxes, three terminals each. The direction of rotation of the engines is left. The motors are designed to operate from an alternating current network with a frequency of 50 Hz, a voltage of 380 V, 400 V, 415 V, as well as a frequency of 60 Hz, a voltage of 380 V and 440 V.

Electric drives of production Ruselprom The BSDKPM series have an explosion protection level of "increased reliability against explosion", an explosion protection type of "blowing the shell under excessive pressure", an explosion protection marking 2ExpzIIT6X. Atmospheric air is used as a protective gas, which simultaneously provides engine cooling. The engine is supplied complete with a control cabinet. The control cabinet is not explosion-proof and is installed outside the explosive zone.
