Domestic electric motors of VEMZ VRA

Explosion-proof three-phase asynchronous electric motors of the VRA series with a short-circuited rotor of mine design, manufactured by a Russian company VEMZ (Vladimir Electric Motor Plant) They are designed to drive machines and mechanisms used in industries with a risk of explosive gas (methane) and coal dust formation. The electric drives of the BPA 132-180 series use ball bearings with lubrication laid down for the entire service life. Lubrication replenishment in the BPA 200-315 engines is carried out through oil tanks and drain plugs, which facilitates bearing maintenance. At the customer's request, the engine can be equipped with imported bearings. The groove filling factor of 0.84 copper increases efficiency by 1.8-2% and reduces heating. Low operating temperatures increase the insulation life, reliability and durability of the engine. The body parts are cast from grey cast iron, which improves the vibration and acoustic characteristics of electric motors and reduces noise levels by 3-7 Db. Optional manufacture of 225-315 VOV electric motors with a reduced noise level of 77 Db is possible. The terminal box with 6 power pass-through terminals provides convenient switching of the star/triangle winding connection scheme with jumpers, which does not require dismantling the box body. Control insulators are installed to connect the sensor circuits. A high energy efficiency class has been achieved due to the optimization of the magnetic system, the use of new insulating materials, the rigidity of the system, and the use of fans of reduced dimensions. The advanced manufacturing technology of the stator winding and the design of the magnetic circuit ensure reliable operation of the motors when powered by autonomous voltage inverters and the ability to control the speed in a wide range. 

Electric motors VEMZ The VRA series are designed for use in underground workings of mines, mines and in their ground structures, dangerous for gas (methane) and combustible dust, classified as category I according to GOST R 51330.11. The degree of explosion protection of engines is RVExdI - protection type "d" (explosion-proof shell) according to GOST R 51330.1. Additional measures have also been taken to prevent the penetration of coal dust, to protect against external influences, to ensure frictional intrinsic safety and to secure the cable at the inlet. The concern has a fleet of modern imported equipment. The degree of protection of the motors from external influences is IP55, the degree of protection of the fan casing from the air inlet side is IP20, from the air outlet side is IP10.
