Bonfiglioli 500 Planetary gearboxes

Company Bonfiglioli developed a specialized line of planetary gearboxes of the 500th series of eight standard sizes of equipment for concrete mixers with tanks of volume from 1 to 14 cubic meters. They are an exceptionally reliable and high-performance offering at an optimal price, while they also have a very compact design and low maintenance requirements.

The particularly robust construction of this series is characterized by high torque and resistance to increased loads. The housing has a place for mounting the water tank, speed sensors are installed. Designed to work with SAE standard hydraulic axial piston engines or orbital hydraulic motors, high-speed (2500-3000 rpm) and low-speed (550 rpm) operating modes.

For medium and large volumes of the mixture (6-14 cubic meters) and relatively long-distance transportation, a solution with an alternating current electric motor is also recommended, which provides highly efficient operation at speeds from 15 to 22 rpm, reducing fuel and operating costs. For emergency use, this design has a built-in DC motor for backup power.
