Designed for cooling and heating dairy products, beer, beverages and viscous products and pasteurization in some applications.
The plate heat exchanger consists of a set of corrugated metal plates with holes for the passage of two liquids, between which heat transfer takes place. A set of plates is assembled between the support and pressure plates and compressed by tightening bolts. The plates are equipped with gaskets that seal the channel and direct liquids to other channels.

The number of plates will be determined by the flow rate, physical properties of liquids, pressure drop and temperature program. The corrugated surface of the plates ensures flow turbulence and reduces the effect of pressure drops on the plates.
