Shut-off and regulating pneumatic valves are essential elements of any pneumatic system and are designed to regulate the passage of compressed air flow.

Pneumatically controlled valves are widely used in many industries. Modern materials are used in the production of the pneumatic valve, which ensures reliability in operation and a variety of applications.

The range of housing materials and seals of the device allows it to be used for liquids and gases of various viscosities. 

The pneumatic shut-off valve is made of high-quality materials - bronze or stainless steel. Its purpose is long–term operation in neutral and aggressive environments in pipes of different diameters. The valve connection can be welded, flanged, threaded. The valve designed for liquids is protected from water hammer.

According to the purpose and method of performing their functions, pneumatic valves can be divided into the following subspecies:

Check valve. This type is designed to maintain the movement of air through the pipeline in only one direction. If the working medium for some reason begins to move with a reverse current, a mechanical overlap of the channel occurs. The shut-off element of the reverse pneumatic valve is made in the form of a spool or in the form of a ball and is held in the open position due to the energy of the incoming medium. The channel is closed under its own weight (if it is a spool type) or under the influence of reverse air flow.

Quick exhaust valve. The main task of this type of equipment is to accelerate the release of residual air into the atmosphere, bypassing the supply pipeline, at the moment when the rod of the pneumatic cylinder returns to its original position after actuation. This allows you to significantly increase the speed of passing the full working cycle of the cylinder. Structurally, this type of valve is made in the form of a membrane that works in both directions and pushes the air flow into different outlets, depending on the direction of movement of the working medium.

The pneumatic valve of the sequence. This type is intended for starting the working medium into the system only when a predetermined pressure level is reached. Such a valve is set in motion by means of a piston, which is affected by compressed air on one side and a spring on the other. Depending on the position of the piston, the valve comes to an open or closed state.

Logical pneumatic valves. The logic elements of pneumatic networks are designed to provide access to the working medium to the pneumatic network only if one of several compressed air sources (valve "or") is operating, or if two operating lines (valve "and"). From the point of view of design, valves with diaphragm, ball and spool type distribution mechanisms are distinguished.
