Design and characteristics
PROLAC HCP is a monoblock centrifugal pump hygienic design. The pump is compact and highly efficient. The pump body is made of stainless steel sheet by cold stamping.
IEC standard motor with stainless steel casing and height-adjustable sanitary supports.
The pump is certified according to EHEDG Its design allows for CIP/SIP
washing without the need to disassemble the pump.
Mechanical seal
Centrifugal pump PROLAC HCP is equipped with an internal balanced mechanical seal of hygienic design. In the standard version, the stationary part is made of graphite, and the rotating part is made of silicon carbide, with EPDM seals. If necessary, other materials can be used.
It is possible to install a double mechanical seal, which consists of two single seals, which simplifies the maintenance of the unit, since the mechanical seals are the same.
