High-precision Gas Mass Flow Meter (MFM) (181876)

The mass flow meter type 8006 is used to determine the mass flow rates of gases. It makes it possible to determine the mass flow of gases regardless of interference (for example, pressure or temperature fluctuations). The sensor operates according to the thermal principle (constant temperature thermoanemometer). At the same time, with a changing mass flow, the heating current in the heating element changes in such a way that a constant elevated temperature is maintained. The measurement is performed in the main flow and provides directly the mass flow rate without corrections. (see description). The mass flowmeter, type 8006, performing measurement in the main stream, is characterized by high dynamics and low sensitivity to contamination. It can be universally used as a flow meter for gases. Typical applications are gas flow measurements during heat treatment, on test benches, in packaging technology, in food and beverage production, as well as in environmental protection technology.
