Collapsible plate FREE FLOW heat exchangers
Free Flow plate heat exchangers are used for heating/cooling products and media for which the use of traditional plate heat exchangers is impossible due to the risk of clogging channels.
A special feature of the design of Free Flow heat exchangers is the increased flow channels between the plates up to 12 mm and the absence of contact points between adjacent plates. The latter is an obvious competitive advantage of this series of GEA Mashimpex plate heat exchangers.
Due to the special shape of the channels formed between the plates, Free Flow plate heat exchangers are much superior to shell-and-tube heat exchangers in terms of thermal performance and have a lower price and smaller dimensions.
