Rosemount™ 5408 Contactless Radar Level Gauge
The 5408 non-contact radar level gauge uses advanced technology and ergonomic design to ensure accurate and reliable measurements of both liquids and bulk materials. Thanks to the technology based on the principle of frequency-modulated continuous wave (FMCW) with fast scan. Reflected radar signals create a continuous echo stream with maximum amplification, which leads to stable and reliable measurement results. The 5408 software interface is intuitively easy to use during installation, commissioning, testing and maintenance. By complying with the IEC 61508 SIL 2 functional safety standard, the 5408:SIS level gauge reduces the cost of risk, increases efficiency and protects personnel and the environment.
