Series servomotors designed for the needs of the food industry Kollmorgen AKM Washdown (AKM…0W) with a stainless steel body and Washdown Food (AKM...0F) with an additional paint coating (FDA standard 2K). They are an ideal offer for working as part of drives that are subject to regular processing in order to comply with sanitary and hygienic rules.
A high level of sealing of the shell against the penetration of dust and water, reliable Teflon seals, protection against leaks and the use of lubricants safe against accidental contact. This series is also very resistant to aggressive chemicals of acidic and alkaline nature (pH 2-12).
A range of five flange dimensions, which also use several versions of different stator lengths and winding types, provide a wide range of characteristics for optimal selection of the appropriate motor. Optionally, for the Washdown Food series, the flange can also be painted.
