Coaxial gear motors Leroy Somer Manubloc

Cylindrical gear motors of the Leroy-Somer Manubloc series with spaced drive axles are designed for direct actuation of the working shaft of technological equipment. 

During installation, the gearboxes of this series are directly mounted on the drive shaft of the equipment and fixed using jet rods /vibration supports.

Unlike Poulibloc gearboxes, the electric motor of Manubloc gearboxes is fixed directly behind the gearbox housing, so in most cases these gear motors are used as part of conveyors and as electromechanical drives of auxiliary equipment with small electric motors.

Types of electromagnetic brakes for Manubloc gearboxes
FCR - fail-safe brake for motors, IP 55 protection, 0.25 to 15 kW (LS), 0.75 to 11 kW (LSES);
FCPL is a fail-safe brake for motors, IP 44 protection, from 11 to 90 kW (L.S., LSES).

The gear motor is supplied with the required amount of oil in accordance with the installation instructions. The gearbox is equipped with drain holes, level control and a breathing valve.

Design features of Leroy Somer gearboxes

• gears and shafts are made of a wear-resistant alloy with the addition of Ni-Cr-Mo; 
• the working surfaces of the gear teeth are additionally cemented and have a high purity of surface treatment; 
• the sealing rings and gaskets are made of nitrile; 
• synthetic lubricants provide effective lubrication of moving parts of gearboxes over a wide temperature range; 
• corrosion-resistant polyurethane and epoxy coating fully protects the product from aggressive environments; 
• larger bearings allow the equipment to operate under the influence of radial loads.
