Brake resistor (0.64 kW at 10% PV, 100 ohms)
SR brake resistors
SR series power resistors with various power ranges and IP20 degree of protection are designed for use in conjunction with frequency converters in lifting and other mechanisms requiring dynamic braking. The resistors are similar in characteristics to the SRX series, but due to the reduction of the degree of protection to IP20 they have a higher heat dissipation.
Marking of SRV brake resistors:
- SR01-XXX, where:
- SR is the designation of the series
- 20 - resistor power
- XXX is the designation of the required resistance in tenths, for example 050 - 5 ohms, 500 - 50 ohms, etc.
There is a standard range of gradation in resistance, it is also possible to manufacture for any resistance. Specify the required power and resistance in the order.
General characteristics of SRV brake resistors:
- Maximum voltage: 1000 V
- Insulation resistance: ≥10 Mohm (@ 2500V)
- Operating temperature: -55°C +100°C
- Cooling: Natural
- Degree of protection according to GOST 14254-96: IP20
- Body material (coating): Galvanized steel
SR type brake resistors include six series: SR, SRH, SRE, SRX, SRV, SRC.
By all standards, these power resistors can work with different brands and different manufacturers.
This SR series is available in a closed enclosure with an IP54 degree of protection.
The operation of the resistor occurs both in pulse mode and power dissipation.
Basic information:
- High power and energy dissipation rates
- Various layout options
- The depth of the housing is optimal for placement on the galleries of cranes
- High-quality components (resistive elements and ceramics) are used
- Galvanized steel housings with roof and open bottom
- Outdoor installation design (IP54 for SR, SRH,SRE, IP23 for SRX)
- Connection – through the bottom or side through the seals (optional).
