Brake resistor (3 kW at 10% PV, 14 ohms)

Brake resistor SRH 1200/30-60 1200W 30-60 ohm IP54

The most popular resistances are indicated, when ordering, the specific resistance SRH 1200/30-60 is indicated: SRH 1200/30 - 30 ohms, SRH 1200/40 - 40 ohms, SRH 1200/50 - 50 ohms ... etc.

You can also order any resistance from the range indicated in the plate below.

Powerful braking resistors in IP54 housing.

The SRH series medium-power resistors in a finned housing with an IP54 degree of protection are designed for use in conjunction with frequency converters in various mechanisms requiring dynamic braking. The design of the resistors ensures their operation both in pulse mode (adiabatic energy absorption) and in power dissipation mode (in nominal mode). The maximum operating characteristics of the resistors are achieved when they are installed on a heat sink or on the side wall of the cabinet where the equipment is located.

General characteristics:

  • Maximum voltage: 1000 V
  • Insulation resistance: 2500 V
  • Insulation resistance: ≥ 10 mOhm
  • Operating temperature: -55°C ... +100°C (with reduced power)
  • Case temperature rise: Up to 200°C
  • Cooling: Natural (convection)
  • Degree of protection according to GOST 14254-96: IP54
  • Body material (coating): Aluminum Alloy
  • Standard pin length: 500 mm (other lengths are available on request)

SR brake resistors

SR series power resistors with various power ranges and IP20 degree of protection are designed for use in conjunction with frequency converters in lifting and other mechanisms requiring dynamic braking. The resistors are similar in characteristics to the SRX series, but due to the reduction of the degree of protection to IP20 they have a higher heat dissipation.

Marking of SRV brake resistors:

  • SR01-XXX, where:
  • SR is the designation of the series
  • 20 - resistor power
  • XXX is the designation of the required resistance in tenths, for example 050 - 5 ohms, 500 - 50 ohms, etc.

There is a standard range of gradation in resistance, it is also possible to manufacture for any resistance. Specify the required power and resistance in the order.

General characteristics of SRV brake resistors:

  • Maximum voltage: 1000 V
  • Insulation resistance: ≥10 Mohm (@ 2500V)
  • Operating temperature: -55°C +100°C
  • Cooling: Natural
  • Degree of protection according to GOST 14254-96: IP20
  • Body material (coating): Galvanized steel

SR type brake resistors include six series: SR, SRH, SRE, SRX, SRV, SRC.

By all standards, these power resistors can work with different brands and different manufacturers.

This SR series is available in a closed enclosure with an IP54 degree of protection.

The operation of the resistor occurs both in pulse mode and power dissipation.

Basic information:

  • High power and energy dissipation rates
  • Various layout options
  • The depth of the housing is optimal for placement on the galleries of cranes
  • High-quality components (resistive elements and ceramics) are used
  • Galvanized steel housings with roof and open bottom
  • Outdoor installation design (IP54 for SR, SRH,SRE, IP23 for SRX)
  • Connection – through the bottom or side through the seals (optional).
