A German company EMOD ENGINES In addition to the production of general-industrial electrical products, she was one of the first to engage in the development and design, as well as the subsequent serial production of inductor-type electric motors with a capacity from 1 to 10 kW, which at the moment are the most advanced and most promising solution in the field of power plants. Design of brand drives EMOD ENGINES It is simple and reliable, includes such elements as: a toothed rotor recruited from sheets of electrical steel, which does not have any winding requiring heat removal, rods and permanent magnets, then there is also a toothed, shoved stator, winding in the form of coils mounted on special teeth (poles) combined into several phases. As a rule, the coils themselves do not have overlapping frontal parts, which increases their durability and ensures operational maintainability in the form of replacing only the coil that has failed, respectively, damage to any one or more coils does not lead to a complete loss of drive performance, as usually happens with DC and AC motors, and only partially reduces its power. With the help of a microprocessor-based software control system, on board an inductor drive EMOD ENGINES, it is possible to correct the natural mechanical characteristics for the use of an electric drive, taking into account maximum loads, with simultaneous trouble-free operation in dynamic modes with frequent starts and stops, where the mechanism starts smoothly. It should also be noted that there are no starting currents in the inductor motor, and with the same dimensions as an asynchronous electric drive with a frequency converter, it has a higher efficiency (by 3-5%). At startup, the value of the currents does not exceed the nominal values. The maximum frequency of the control pulses does not exceed 250-300 Hz. 

Applications of inductor electric motors include work in household appliances: washing machines, vacuum cleaners, food processors and power tools, in machine tools with numerical control, industrial robotics, a separate class of devices and mechanisms of industrial orientation using unregulated electric drives in daily work, where energy efficiency increases significantly when using an adjustable electric drive. Typically, such devices include compressor and pumping equipment. It has been observed that the efficiency of using inductor drives EMOD ENGINES it increases significantly if the need for speed control is combined with harsh working conditions, as is the case in electric drives for metallurgy, mining and in rolling stock of electric transport.
