Three-phase synchronous machines manufactured by the company EMZ SG series are special alternating current electric machines in which the rotor and the magnetic field of the stator currents rotate synchronously. As a rule, synchronous machines of the company EMZ SG series, one of the windings is connected to an alternating current electrical network, and the second is excited by direct current. The AC winding itself is called the armature winding. During the operation of the synchronous machine, the armature winding converts all the electromagnetic power of the synchronous machine into electrical power and vice versa.
