Scope of application

The VEGAMET 624 universal signal generation device is designed for various monitoring and control tasks, including level measurement, liquid column height measurement, pressure measurement, status registration and inventory management (Vendor Managed Inventory), as well as remote polling of measurement data. A variety of adjustment functions allow you to adapt the device to individual application conditions.

The principle of operation

The VEGAMET 624 signal generation device serves as a power source for the 4 ... 20 mA/HART sensor and processes the measured value of the sensor. The measured value is recalculated/linearized depending on the corresponding VEGAMET settings and transmitted via current outputs to the devices connected further. The device has three operating relays for signaling limit values. Additional interfaces provide the possibility of remote polling of measured values. The integrated Web server allows the measured values to be transmitted over the network.
