Diaphragm valves, with manual or pneumatic drive, have been specially designed for hygienic and aseptic processes.
This type of valve, in addition to the closing/opening function, is used to control or adjust the flow.
The principle of operation
The membrane serves as both a seal for the body and the seat. Contact of the product with the atmosphere is excluded, which means that the valve can be used in aseptic processes.
When the valve closes, the clamp, which serves as a support for the membrane, moves towards the sealing surface of the housing. The membrane, under pressure, is forced to move onto the seat in the center of the body, blocking the passage of liquid through the cone. The special design of the clamp and housing prevents excessive compression of the membrane.
Diaphragm Valve, with manual or pneumatic drive, can be adjusted by control heads or electric valves.
