Pressure converter VEGABAR 53
The VEGABAR 53 pressure transmitter is designed to measure overpressure, absolute pressure or vacuum on gases, vapors and liquids.
The principle of operation
The effect of the process pressure on the stainless steel membrane causes a change in the resistance of the sensing element, this change is converted into an output signal and output as a measured value. For measuring ranges up to 16 bar, a piezoresistive sensing element with a filling liquid is used. For higher measuring ranges, a strain gauge mounted on the back of the membrane is used as a sensing element
