Flanged vibrators are designed for use in vibration installations in which vibration is required parallel to the mounting plane of the vibrator.
The use of flanged vibrators is effective in such installations as vibrating screens, vibrating convectors. The sieving process proceeds faster and more evenly if the sieving surface of the vibrating screen does not oscillate in the vertical plane (as in the case of using an ordinary surface vibrator), but in the horizontal (when using a flange vibrator).
