Scope of application

The SOLITRAC 31 rod PVT detector is designed for continuous measurement of the filling level and interfacial level in cylindrical and conical tanks and is applicable for reactors, autoclaves, separators, mixers.

The principle of operation

Gamma radiation from a weak radioactive preparation is received by a rod PVT detector installed on the opposite side of the container. When passing through the wall of the container and the measured medium, gamma rays are attenuated. The attenuation of the radiation is proportional to the fill level.
