The pneumatic actuator body is made of extruded aluminum of the brand ASTM6005. The inner surface has the shape of a honed cylinder for extended service life and low coefficient of friction. To protect against internal and external corrosion, the housing is painted.

The pneumatic actuator has a compact symmetrical design. The guide posts and pistons are configured so as to have a low coefficient of friction, a long life cycle and prevent stainless steel fasteners from providing resistance to corrosion.
