The principle of operation of the clamping valves

The liquid clamping valve is a cylinder, on opposite sides of which there are discs with a hole for mounting to the pipe. Inside the cylindrical body there is a hose made of elastic material. The hose has a high sensitivity to rebound, due to which the flow is blocked. The design and properties of the hose provide an airtight closure for gases, liquids, and bulk media. The maximum operating pressure that the valve can shut off depends on its modification and ranges from 0.5 to 6 bar. Mechanical clamping valves are operated manually, automatically - using special actuators controlled by automation.
