SIEMENS SIMATIC S7 400 6ES7 412-5HK06-0AB0 CPU 412-5H PN/DP Controller
The SIMATIC S7-400 is a powerful programmable controller for building control systems of medium and high complexity. The modular design, natural cooling operation, flexible expansion options, powerful communication capabilities, ease of creation of distributed control systems and ease of maintenance make the SIMATIC S7-400 an ideal tool for solving almost any automation tasks.
The main applications of 6ES7405-0RA02-0AA0 are:
- mechanical engineering;
- automotive industry;
- warehouse management;
- technological installations;
- measurement and data collection systems;
- textile industry;
- packaging machines and lines;
- production of controllers;
- automation of special purpose machines;
- automation of continuous production.
Several types of central processing units of different performance and a wide range of modules with many built-in functions significantly simplify the development of automation systems based on the SIMATIC S7-400.
If the control algorithms become more complex and require the use of additional equipment, the controller makes it easy to increase its capabilities by installing an additional set of modules.
The programmable controller 6ES74050RA020AA0 is designed to build automatic control systems characterized by increased reliability of operation. The availability of a redundant structure allows you to continue working in the event of one or more failures in its components. As a rule, such systems manage production facilities, the downtime of which causes great economic losses.
Due to its high reliability, 6ES7405-0RA02-0AA0 can be used:
- in systems with high production restart costs in case of controller failure;
- in systems with high downtime costs;
- in control systems for the processing of valuable materials (for example, in the pharmaceutical industry);
- in systems without constant monitoring by maintenance personnel;
- in systems with a small number of maintenance personnel.
Programmable controllers are designed to build safety automation and emergency protection systems in which the occurrence of failures does not entail a danger to the life of service personnel and does not lead to pollution of the environment. The controllers are available in two versions:
- S7-400F: an emergency protection system in which the occurrence of failures leads to the transfer of technological equipment to safe conditions and the shutdown of the production process.
- S7-400FH: redundant emergency protection system, similar in purpose to the S7-400F controller
On the basis of programmable controllers 6ES74050RA020AA0, emergency protection systems can be created that meet the requirements:
- safety classes AK1...AK6 according to DIN V 19250/DIN V VDE 0801;
- safety levels SIL 1...SIL 3 according to IEC 61508;
- safety categories 1...4 according to EN 954-1.
In systems based on 6ES7405-0RA02-0AA0 programmable controllers, combined use of F-system components with standard components is allowed. Such systems are capable of performing the functions of standard control in relation to one and the functions of safety automation and emergency protection in relation to another part of the technological equipment. A single set of industrial software is used for the design and maintenance of standard and F-systems.
