Asynchronous AC electric motors Brusatori The VF series series are equipped with forced cooling systems. For example, if an electric motor has an IP54 protection class, then it is equipped with an axial electric fan, and motors with an IP23 protection class are centrifugal, which in turn are installed radially to the axis of the engine. It should also be noted that the indicators for the maximum radial load on the engine shaft are based on the calculation of a guaranteed operating time of at least 20,000 hours, while the axial load should not exceed 20% of the maximum radial load.
Such an important component of an electric motor as a bearing is installed and filled with grease for the entire service life. As an option, at the request of the customer, an electromechanical brake can be installed on the electric motor, which, when power is removed, by means of its spring-loaded pads, block the motor shaft. It should also be noted that the activation and deactivation of the brake is performed with the rotor stationary.
