Series HDP servo motors from the company ABB designed to solve problems requiring a high level of dynamic performance, it is used exclusively with a frequency converter. The body structure has a square shape, excellent overload resistance, fast response due to the low moment of inertia.
It is used instead of DC motors on the following production equipment: extruders, agitators, molds for casting, papermaking plants, printing presses, cutters, conveyors, winding and unwinding machines, wire drawing, etc., as well as for equipping test benches.
The model range is represented by two subgroups: series M3EB with a closed design and M3EH with an open body design (splash-proof).
Additionally, the servo motor can be equipped with a braking system and feedback sensors for a wide range of offers.
