Tsubaki TERUS Worm Gearboxes

The advantageous union of two types of mechanical gears is widely represented in the line of angular TERUS gear motors from the company Tsubaki. The combination of cylindrical and worm power units makes them particularly reliable and durable in use, as well as the most compact and silent in operation, which is quite important for comfortable placement of the drive.

This family includes five series groups depending on the worm gears used. The size range includes various categories of dimensions with an axial distance from 50 to 315 mm. Depending on the series, a hollow or solid shaft can be installed at the outlet. Four mounting positions are available for optimal placement, and a wide range of optional options.

Each subgroup can be made in four versions, depending on the assigned functions and operating conditions, namely:

• standard design for general industrial use, high-performance with compact design and high reduction coefficients, in particular as part of low-speed conveyors, dryers, etc.;
• self-locking versions for use in equipment such as elevators, elevators, opening and closing mechanisms, inclined conveyors, etc., practical replacement of multicomponent assemblies;
• an ecological version of working with waste recycling equipment, crushers, mixers, rigid construction and high resistance to shock loads;
• special design tailored to individual requirements and settings.
